8/17/11 - 22:02 - Couple of thunderstorms developing

*A couple of thunderstorms are developing a long the cold front in NC and NE IL. These storms are not expected to be severe, but may bring a downpour for a few minutes and sporadic bolts of lightning. Cooler air will be ushered in.*

About Me

Melky's Used Syringe: Evergreen Park, Illinois, United States; I am a firefighter/EMT with the Evergreen Park Fire Department. I also am a Clinical Information Management Specialist at Advocate Christ Medical Center. I have such a passion for severe weather and tornado chasing. While not reckless, I do like to get close to the action and document it the best I can. Over the years I have built up many contacts in the meteorological profession. Maybe one day I will go back to school and finish my degree and get a job in this area. Another group of chasers I am involved in is Convective Addiction. We have created 3 dvds as well as been nationally recognized. I would hope that one day I become a respected and accomplished member of the meteorological or chasing community.
